The Heart of the matter

Great teaching/preaching series in progress at Destiny Church on 'The Heart'...
Been spending today reflecting on what's been said so far. It is so awesome to think how our hearts work; how they 'see', 'hear' and 'feel'. I've been reflecting on how Gods' heartbeat should be mirrored in us. The things that, through our hearts, God wants us to see, hear and feel. I keep hearing the phrase 'spiritual E.C.G.'... I am being challenged by God as to what mine would look like (within the 'normal' range? or with huge peaks and troughs? or worse still a flat-liner - i.e. spiritually dead) - what about you?

The Happening Church

Destiny Church in Bristol is without doubt the place to be! It is a REAL Church, full of REAL people. It is relevant for the people of today, regardless of age or background. If you are looking for a place where God is not 'put in a box', where Jesus is found, and where the Holy Spirit is allowed freedom; then come and check us out! The Church of today has lost its relevance in society and families because too often it is stale, ineffective, apathetic, people-pleasing, boring and waters down the Word of God. Destiny Church reflects the sort of place that Jesus would be hanging out at on a Sunday! The praise and worship is amazing and up there with the best! The preaches are challenging as well as inspiring - God doesn't intend for us to stay the same - He expects us to change through challenge! (Too many pats on the head just stunt your growth!).
The people are REAL, fun-loving, people-oriented, caring and incredibly friendly. Why not come and be a part of what God is doing on Sunday mornings in the Filton - you won't be sorry you did - rather you may be sorry you didn't!!!
